Rug (Japanese: ラグ Rug) is a character in the Pokémon RéBURST manga.
Character
Rug is a wandering bandit notable for her manipulative personality. She is more than willing to use others to accomplish her own goals, but will also directly work to get what she wants, including by using the capabilities of her Burst form, Purrloin.
After joining Ryouga's group, it has been hinted that she may be developing feelings for him.
History
Rug first appears in Mysterious Beauty, Rug. She is seen spying on Ryouga's group, and later recruits several men from a saloon to aid in an attack on them, fully intending to only use them to wear Ryouga out so she can steal the Compass of Light. However, when she commences her attack, Ryouga is defended by Karuta, who uses his Accelgor Burst. Rug engages Karuta in battle using her Purrloin Burst.
Following her defeat, Rug decided to join Ryouga's group, and has often been seen bickering with Karuta.
