The Fighting type is one of the ten TCG types. It is represented by the color brown, and symbolized by a left-handed fist.
The Fighting type contains all Fighting-, Rock- and Ground-type Pokémon found in the main series video games. For example, Machamp, Golem and Dugtrio are all Fighting types in the TCG.
Battle properties
Generally, Fighting Pokémon have a weakness to:
- Psychic (if the Pokémon was a Fighting-type in the video games)
- Grass (if the Pokémon was a Ground- or Rock-type in the video games)
- Water (if the Pokémon was a Ground- or Rock-type in the video games)
Generally Fighting Pokémon have a resistance to:
- Lightning (if the Pokémon was a Ground-type in the video games)
These types are generally weak to Fighting Pokémon:
- Darkness
- Colorless (if the Pokémon was a Normal-type in the video games)
These types are generally resistant to Fighting Pokémon:
- Colorless* (if the Pokémon was a Flying-type in the video games)
