Belch (Japanese: ゲップ Belch) is a damage-dealing Poison-type move introduced in Generation VI.
Effect
Belch deals damage, but only if the user has previously eaten a Berry in the current battle (whether its own, or another's via Bug Bite or Pluck); if the user has not yet eaten a Berry, the player is prevented from selecting the move.
After eating a Berry, the player may use Belch for the rest of the battle, even if the Pokémon has been switched out and back in. Consuming a Berry through other means (such as Natural Gift, or its Trainer giving it a Berry from the Bag) will not enable Belch to be used.
