An SOS Battle (Japanese: 乱入バトル Intruder Battle) is a type of Pokémon battle in the Generation VII games, introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon.
An SOS Battle involves the player battling a wild Pokémon that can call additional wild Pokémon to its side during the battle. Battles with Totem Pokémon are always SOS Battles, but there are also other Pokémon that can be battled in SOS Battles.
