Release information
This card was released in the English Base Set, originating from the Japanese Expansion Pack. It was later reprinted in the English Base Set 2 expansion.
Trivia
The graffiti in the background of the illustration appears to say "Tokiwa City", the Japanese name of Viridian City.
Origin
Destiny Bond is a move later introduced in the Generation II Pokémon games that Gastly can learn. This card's English Pokédex comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
