Beginning Pokémon (Japanese: はじめてのポケモン) is one of the eight sets found in Pokémon Trading Card Game 2: The Invasion of Team GR! for the Game Boy Color.

The booster pack image features a Bulbasaur.

Club Masters and their Club Members usually give out these booster packs when they are defeated.

Beginning Pokémon includes cards from Base Set, the Jungle expansion, and Fossil expansion. It also includes a number of Vending Machine cards and cards from the Intro Pack that were never released outside of Japan.
