Spectral Thief (Japanese: シャドースチール Shadow Steal) is a damage-dealing Ghost-type move introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature move of Marshadow. It can be upgraded to the special Z-Move Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike by Marshadow holding Marshadium Z.
Effect
This move effect may be in need of research. Reason: Are the boosts stolen affected by Simple or Contrary? You can discuss this on the talk page. |
Spectral Thief causes the user to steal the target's stat boosts and then do damage. It also bypasses substitutes. Spectral Thief will only steal enough boosts to reach +6 in each stat; if the sum of the user's existing stat boosts and the target's stat boosts exceeds +6 in a stat, the target will retain any excess boosts.
