Pokémon Ruby-Sapphire (Japanese: ポケットモンスターR・S(ルビーサファイア) Pocket Monster R S (Ruby and Sapphire)) is a shōnen Pokémon manga created by Kosaku Anakubo. It is a sequel to the original Pokémon Pocket Monsters and is succeeded by Pocket Monsters DP. The story follows the adventures of Red and his Pokémon (Clefairy, Pikachu and Tyrogue) in Hoenn. It is chiefly a gag manga using crude humor and slapstick.
Pokémon Ruby-Sapphire was published in six bound volumes by Shogakukan in Japan. The series was translated into English by Chuang Yi in Singapore as Pokémon RS.
