Chaz (Japanese: エイジ Eiji) is a character of the day who appeared in All Things Bright and Beautifly. His Japanese voice actor is 清田和彦 Kazuhiko Kyota.
Chaz is a Pokémon coordinator who entered the Rustboro contest along side his friend and rival, Janet. In the end he and Janet made it to the final round. He used his Venomoth against her Beautifly but he ended up losing to her.
Chaz also helped Ash teach his Pikachu the move Iron Tail with the help of his Sentret. He suggested Pikachu learn it in order to defeat the Gym leader's Template:Type2 Pokémon.
