The Storage Key (Japanese: そうこのカギ Storage Key) is a Key Item introduced in Generation III. There are three different Storage Keys in the games, one used in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, another in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, and a similar but different Storage Key in the Hoenn game remakes, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald
The Storage Key allows the player to open the storage room on the Abandoned Ship and pick up a TM13 (Ice Beam).
Pokémon Diamond and Pearl
The Storage Key allows the player to open the door inside Team Galactic's Warehouse.
In Pokémon Platinum, after visiting Lake Acuity, Looker takes and uses the key in a cutscene instead of allowing the player to pick it up.
Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire
The Storage Key allows the player to open the storage hold on the outside of Sea Mauville.
