Buddy (Japanese: 相棒 Partner) is the third episode of Pokémon: Twilight Wings. It was first released on The Pokémon Company's official Japanese YouTube channel, The Pokémon Company International's official English YouTube channel, and Pokémon TV on March 17, 2020.
Blurb
Hop idolizes his older brother, Leon, who along with his partner Pokémon, Charizard, have earned the title of Champion. Wooloo, Hop’s partner Pokémon, is jealous of the admiration shown for Leon’s Charizard and decides to prove that it’s also worthy of the Champion title.

- On March 8, 2020, the official English Pokémon Twitter account tweeted that the third episode would be released on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, a week before its actual release. The tweet was later deleted and a tweet with the correct date was posted on March 10, 2020.
- On March 12, 2020, the official Japanese Pokémon news Twitter account tweeted that the episode would be released on Monday, March 16, 2020, a day before its actual release. The tweet was deleted later that day and a notice of correction was posted.
- This marks the first appearance of Generation VIII Pokémon not revealed until after Pokémon Sword and Shield's launch in the Twilight Wings miniseries.
