== Pokémon Adventures Diamond/Pearl inconsistency ==
In the section In the Pokémon Adventures manga, on the second paragraph, it says that:
<blockquote> | |||
In Halting Honchkrow, Pearl, on his way to Veilstone City to save Azelf from the Team Galactic HQ, faced a heavily guarded gate leading from 214 to Veilstone City. Thankfully, with the help of the Unown he and Pearl had befriended earlier at the Solaceon Ruins, Diamond was able to break through the masses of Galactic Grunts blocking the gate and enter the city.
</blockquote> | |||
However, it says that Diamond and Pearl were both involved in this. In this time frame in Pokémon Adventures, Pearl was on his way to Lake Valor, and Diamond was on his way to Lake Verity, so I feel pretty confident that I can change that last "Diamond" to "Pearl". However, I wanted to ask the other editors first: is it okay?

Pictures of a Generation II lookout station
Can someone please upload pictures of a Generation II guardhouse from both Johto and Kanto? Thank You much --Dialgafan1 00:38, 13 June 2009 (UTC)Dialgafan1
Officer
I think the name "Officer" is out of place, as it refers to the Trainer Class. Those are simply "gate guards". And also, I think it should be moved to "Gatehouse". The name "lookout station" is neither official nor popular in fandom. --Maxim 16:23, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
- (Apologies for replying to a comment this old, but since this has somewhat of a relevance...)
- Actually, I believe this should be moved to Gate, as from what I'm able to tell, that's the official term for these places, as Generation V has apparently introduced to us. Not only do some people within them call them gates, but if one were to bring up the save screen in one (or hatch an egg inside one and bring up the Pokémon's status), the area name will show up as "<something> Gate" (as opposed to one of the connecting areas as was the case in previous generations); examples include "Bridge Gate" for ones surrounding the bridges, "Opelucid Gate" for ones surrounding Opelucid City (similar naming applies for those around other cities/towns and, based on "Black Gate" near Black City, I suspect "White Gate" for White Forest as well), and even "Route Gate" for the one between Routes 1 and 17. (These are only examples; this is not the complete list of Unova gate names.) These location names apparently solidifies the case for "Gate" being the official term.
- Besides, as far as I can tell, "lookout station" wasn't even a popular fanon term; "guardhouse" and "gatehouse" were far more popular fanon terms. ****, only select few gates in Kanto (and even then only in Generations I and III) and no gates in any other country besides Kanto even had equipment that would qualify for the term "lookout station". --Shiningpikablu252 04:34, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
"edit" near Practical Use
The place where it says "edit" for the Practical Use section is located halfway down the paragraph. I do not know why this is, or how this is, or how to fix it. I have refreshed the page several times, so I don't think it just loaded funny. Someone needs to look into it. Perhaps it has something to do with the pictures?--Lamb(talk) 07:11, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
Pokemon Pearl/Diamond gate?
Will someone please put a picture of a gate from Pokemon Diamond/Pearl onto this page? This is just a suggestion. I am a talking Scrafty! You can talk to me, and I can reply! 19:31, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
- Done that. Also, in reference to the first section above, since nobody seems to have uploaded a Generation II gate yet, I'll do so, for the Johto gate first, at least. Kanto will have to wait, if it turns out to be different from the Johto gates. Haxorus 03:05, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

Pokémon Adventures Diamond/Pearl inconsistency
In the section In the Pokémon Adventures manga, on the second paragraph, it says that:
In Halting Honchkrow, Pearl, on his way to Veilstone City to save Azelf from the Team Galactic HQ, faced a heavily guarded gate leading from Route 214 to Veilstone City. Thankfully, with the help of the Unown he and Pearl had befriended earlier at the Solaceon Ruins, Diamond was able to break through the masses of Galactic Grunts blocking the gate and enter the city.
