Lugia (Japanese: ルギア Lugia) is a recurring Pokémon that appeared during Pokémon Journeys: The Series.

History

Lugia first appeared in JN002, where it appeared just outside Vermilion City. Its appearance caused many Trainers to engage it in battle, but none of the attacks had an effect on it. As Lugia started to fly away, Ash and Goh jumped onto Lugia, which led them to meet each other for the first time. Lugia eventually took the boys on a journey through the sea and the sky before dropping them off.
