• The two encounters Dialga, who is still undergoing the process that turned it into Primal Dialga.
• They battle Dialga and successfully put the Time Gears into their proper location, fixing the future in the process.
• Honō reveals to Totodile that he will disappear from existence due to their victory, and thanks him before he goes away.
• Back in the present, Totodile still feels extreme sorrow over Honō's disappearance, which prompts Dialga to revive him.
• Totodile and Honō have a tearful reunion.
