Release information
This card was included in the Secret Wonders expansion, first released in the Magmortar Half Deck of the Japanese Magmortar vs Electivire Deck Kit. A Holofoil DP-P Promotional version was available as part of the Trade Please DP event held at participating Pokémon Centers from November 4, 2007 for as long as stocks lasted. Visitors could trade any 1 Pokémon card (including International cards and Japanese cards with a classic reverse) with attendants for 1 of 3 promotional cards at random. Trainer cards and Energy cards were specifically excluded from the trade.
Trivia
Origin
Fire Punch and Smog are both moves in the Pokémon games that Magmar can learn. The Japanese name of Fire Punch is spelled ほのおパンチ rather than ほのおのパンチ as in the video games. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
This article is part of Project TCG, a Bulbapedia project that aims to report on every aspect of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. |
