Goh's Suicune (Japanese: ゴウスイクン Go's Suicune) is the seventh Pokémon that Goh caught in the Johto region, and his seventy-sixth overall.
In the anime

Suicune first appeared at a lake where a wild Goldeen was feeling ill. Suicune used its power to restore the water Goldeen was in and heal it. Later a group of Pokémon hunters were deliberately polluting a lake in order to attract Suicune so that they could get it. Ash and Goh attempted to stop them but Suicune appeared on the scene and was soon caught by the hunters. Goh threw a Poké Ball at Suicune and was able to catch it.
Leaving Ash to battle the hunters, Goh grabbed Suicune's Poké Ball and ran away with it in order to keep Suicune safe, only to trip and drop Suicune's Poké Ball, causing Suicune to come out. Realizing Suicune was still injured as a result of the hunters, Goh tried to keep it safe and feed it berries, only for the hunters to find Suicune. Realizing how deeply Goh cared for it, Suicune battled the hunters and was able to freeze them, allowing them to be arrested by Officer Jenny.
Goh attempted to release Suicune but failed as it chose to remain as his Pokémon while roaming the world.
Personality and characteristics
Suicune is shown to be a kind Pokémon, as seen in Healing the Healer! when it helped to restore the polluted water and help heal an injured Goldeen.
Although not happy at being caught, Suicune started to bond with Goh on seeing him protect it from a group of Pokémon hunters. When Goh attempted to release it, Suicune chose remain as his Pokémon while roaming the world, showing how it cared for Goh.
Suicune's capture was an important point in Goh's journey, being the main reason Professor Oak decided to nominate Goh to Project Mew in Advice to Goh!.
