Goh's Greedent (Japanese: ゴウのヨクバリス Go's Yokubarisu) is the second Pokémon that Goh caught in the Galar region, and his twenty-fourth overall.
History
In The Climb to Be the Very Best!, Goh encountered Greedent as a Skwovet while in Wyndon. He and Ash were enjoying scones when he noticed Skwovet eating one of Ash's. Upon seeing this, Goh immediately threw a Poké Ball and caught it.
In Panic in the Park!, panic erupted amongst Goh's Pokémon at Cerise Laboratory when there was a food shortage. Working with Cubone, Skwovet enlisted Golurk to stop the other Pokémon from fighting. Instead, this resulted in Golurk's seal falling off, which caused Golurk to go berserk. Skwovet helped put the seal back on before helping to protect the three Cascoon from the flood caused by Golurk's rampage, allowing them to evolve into Dustox. The next day, Skwovet was revealed to be the culprit behind the shortage, as it had been taking the food and storing it in a cave in secret.
In Crowning the Chow Crusher!, Goh entered Skwovet in the Pokémon Grand Eating Contest. It reached the top three, going up against a Blaziken and Morpeko. After Blaziken refused to eat the Torchic-shaped manjū and Morpeko sent Team Rocket blasting off, Skwovet evolved into Greedent, allowing it to eat enough food to win the competition.
In Take My Thief! Please!, Greedent had another run-in with its rival Morpeko when it arrived at Cerise Laboratory. The two ended up fighting over the food of the other Pokémon residing in Cerise Park. The two are pacified by Raichu delivering them a large amount of Berries.
In A One-Stick Wonder!, Goh used Greedent to train a wild Thwackey alongside Ash's Pokémon. Goh used Greedent's Bullet Seed move so that Thwackey could hit it with his branch.
In This Could be the Start of Something Big!, Greedent attended a surprise party hosted by the Lab members commemorating Goh and Ash's departure. After that, it posed for a group photo with Goh, Ash, and the others.
Personality and characteristics
Typical of its species, Greedent is gluttonous and likes to store food, such as in Panic in the Park!, where it, as a Skwovet, stored all of the food at Cerise Laboratory. Its gluttony can cause it to be selfish and shortsighted, as it ended up storing the food of the other Pokémon with little concern for the consequences. Even after this caused a hunger panic, it didn't seem to realize it should give back the food and even continued to store food after the problem was solved. However, this gluttony can cause determination to spark in the Greedy Pokémon, as shown when it kept eating the Torchic manjū and evolved during the Pokémon Grand Eating Contest.
At the Laboratory, Greedent is part of the group of small Pokémon that formed near Golurk. It even helped the rest of the group put the Automaton Pokémon's seal back on its chest to stop its rampage. During this period, Greedent became friends with Goh's Cubone.
