Goh's Absol (Japanese: ゴウアブソル Go's Absol) is the seventy-eight Pokémon that Goh caught.
History

Absol was originally a Pokémon living on Mt. Chimney, which people of Lavaridge Town blamed of drying out their hot springs. Ash and Goh later discovered that the true source of the problem was a huge boulder blocking the source of the hot spring, and joined Absol in breaking it. As the boulder broke and a blast of pressurized hot water erupted from under it, Goh caught Absol to save it from the blast. Afterwards, he offered it the chance to go, but Absol chose to stay with him.
In JN091, Goh uses Absol to battle a wild Spiritomb. Despite its efforts and type advantage, Absol can only win when it joins forces with Ash's Gengar.
Personality and characteristics
Initially treated as a threat by residents, Absol is a Pokémon with a heroic and incredible sense of responsibility. Getting to the point where it went to his limit to help the population of Lavaridge Town before Goh decided to save him.
