Base camps (Japanese: ベースキャンプ base camp) are safe locations established by the Galaxy Team Survey Corps throughout the Hisui region. They are used for reporting new Pokédex data, healing the player's Pokémon, item management, and accessing Pokémon from Pasture. There are 11 camps in total.

Obsidian Fieldlands

Base Camps are only location in Hisui, where the Player can report Professor Laventon new PokéDex data on Pokémon. This raises Player's Star Rank. Once the Player's Star Rank is raised enough Player can unlock these areas: Crimson Mirelands, Cobalt Coastlands, Coronet Highlands and Alabaster Icelands (Obsidian Fieldlands is not included, because it get unlocked without a Rank) and unlock new base camps.

Buying items

Items can be bought in a base camp from a Galaxy Member. Which items he sells depends on how many requests from Tao Hua the player has completed.
