Fiery Path (Japanese: 炎の抜け道 Fiery Path) is an underground route which travels though Mt. Chimney. At first, the player will need to go through it to get to Route 113 and Fallarbor Town because they lack the Go-Goggles necessary to pass through the desert of Route 111. Later, they may return with HM04 (Strength) to access a previously inaccessible side path.

The Fiery Path appeared in the beginning of Game Winning Assist. Ash and his friends tried to use it as a shortcut on their way to Lavaridge Town, but they were forced to run after May's Skitty let itself out of its Poké Ball and attacked a group of wild Slugma, agitating them. The group barely managed to escape after Ash had Pikachu use Iron Tail on a crack in the wall, opening up an exit to the outside.
