Rayquaza ex (Japanese: レックウザex Rayquaza ex) is a Colorless-type Basic Pokémon-ex card. It is one of the Nintendo Black Star Promos.

Card text

When Pokémon-ex has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Frenzy ぎゃくじょう

As long as your opponent has Kyogre, Kyogre ex, Groudon, or Groudon ex in play, Rayquaza ex's attacks do 40 more damage to the Defending Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).

Dragon Bind ドラゴンバインド 20

Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed.

Twister たつまき 50

Flip 2 coins. If both are tails, this attack does nothing. For each heads, discard an Energy attached to the Defending Pokémon.

Release information

This card was released as one of the English Nintendo Black Star Promos, first released as one of the Japanese PLAY Promotional cards. The English print was included in the EX Collector's Tins, released on October 1, 2006. In Japan, it was included in the Limited Edition Starter Kit, which could only be obtained by those in the Pokémon Player's Club.
