In Japan, this card was released as both a Holofoil and Non Holofoil {{TCG|ADV-P Promotional cards|ADV-P Promotional card}} at participating {{wp|7-Eleven}} stores as part of the Pokémon Fair campaign, which ran from June 25, 2003 until stocks lasted. Customers who purchased a bottle of Coca-Cola Vanilla, Sprite Classic, Ambasa Sour White, Fanta Fruit Punch, or Fanta Melon Soda were given one of 21 possible cards. It was later reprinted with different artwork by [[Kouki Saitou]] and available in a promotion distributed by Meiji Chocolate in February 2004. This reprint appeared in English as one of the {{TCG|Nintendo Black Star Promos}}, available as one of two promotional cards in the {{TCGMerch|EX|Series|EX Series Collector's Tin}} released in November 2003. A Non Holofoil version of this card was distributed at the [[Pokémon 10th Anniversary Journey Across America|Journey Across America]] tour.
