Riley and Wanda getting married

Riley (Japanese: リュウジ Ryūji) is Wanda's husband in Pokémon Adventures.

He first appears in It's Absol-lutely a Bad Omen, as the head of the construction crew in the Rusturf Tunnel, when it unexpectedly collapses on him due to earthquakes. Ruby rescues him.

He and Wanda are later married during the Emerald arc.

In the games

Riley is based on Wanda's nameless boyfriend from Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, trapped on the west side of the breakable rocks in the Rusturf Tunnel.
