Flavor text Generation VI Protects allies from attacks that limit their move choices. Generation VII Protects itself and its allies from attacks that limit their move choices. Generation VIII Protects itself and its allies from attacks that limit their move choices. Generation IX Protects the Pokémon and its allies from effects that prevent the use of moves.

Aroma Veil (Japanese: アロマベール Aroma Veil) is an Ability introduced in Generation VI. Prior to Generation VIII, it was the signature Ability of Spritzee and Aromatisse.

Effect

In battle

Aroma Veil prevents the Pokémon with this Ability and its allies (including non-adjacent allies) from being afflicted by Taunt, Torment, Encore, Disable, Cursed Body, Heal Block, and infatuation. Despite being a move that also prevents the use of moves, Imprison is not affected by this Ability.

Outside of battle

Aroma Veil has no effect outside of battle.
