Nemona (Japanese: ネモ Nemo) is a supporting character in Pokémon Horizons: The Series. She is a Champion ranked Trainer who met Liko and Roy in Nemona and Brassius and....
History
Pre-series
Some time ago, Nemona challenged the Paldea League and managed to become a Champion Rank Trainer. This made her famous among several Trainers in the Paldea region.
Pokémon Horizons: The Series
Nemona first appeared in Nemona and Brassius and... while winning a battle against a Trainer, some time before meeting Liko and Roy, Nemona came to Artazon town to meet with Brassius and discuss his absence from the Gym. Upon being introduced to the young Trainers, Nemona joined them to go to the Gym and meet Brassius, during the meeting, they discussed their works and when Roy spoke about the black Rayquaza, Brassius kicked everyone out of his house. While discussing why Brassius acted the way he did, Liko came to the conclusion that Brassius might have writer's block.
After that, Nemona took Liko and Roy to the Sunflora Lawn and decided to group as many Sunflora to create inspiration for Brassius again, when they got together to see how many they managed to group, Nemona showed that she managed to gather fifteen species of Sunflora. After Brassius saw the group's determination and his Dolliv's insistence, Brassius presented Nemona, Liko and Roy with a work based on his vision of Rayquaza.
As soon as Brassius challenged Roy to a Gym battle, Nemona watched the battle along with Liko and explained some concepts like Terastallization to her. At the end, Brassius presented another work of his to the group, one based on the forest's Arboliva.
In the next episode, Nemona accompanied Liko, Roy and Mollie into the forest. Upon arriving, Nemona said goodbye to the group and said that the next time she meets them, she would like to have a battle with Roy.
Nemona appeared in a flashback to Liko and Roy's journey in HZ045.
Nemona is scheduled to battle Roy in HZ048.
Character
Nemona is a very friendly and kind person, quickly making friends with Liko and Roy. She also has a huge passion for Pokémon battles, challenging different Trainers as she encounters them on her way to a battle.
As expected from a Champion, Nemona is well respected in the Paldea region, despite her young age she is shown to be very knowledgeable about various topics in the Pokémon world such as the Terastal phenomenon.
