This card was one of the XY Black Star Promos available in the Mega Garchomp-EX Premium Collection released November 18, 2016. The Collection also included a Jumbo print. In Japan, this card was one of two unnumbered XY-P Promotional cards awarded to players who accumulated 6 Play Points by participating in various events held as part of the Kamex Mega Battle in 2016.
