Desert Region (Japanese: 砂漠地帯 Desert Area) is a dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX that contains 20 floors. It is automatically unlocked on purchasing the Furnace DesertRB/Withering DesertRTDX Rescue team camp.
Gameplay
Sandstorms are very common in this dungeon.

In the original games, keys can be found here, on floors 19 and 20. Additionally, sandstorm is the default weather on floors 3, 6, 8, 9, 12, 14, 15 and 18.
Generation VIII
In the remake, 20 Golden Fossils, 20 Golden Spikes, and a Deluxe Box can be found on 20F. Additionally, the default weather is Sunny on floors 6, 9, and 15, and Sandstorm on floors 4, 10, and 17-18.
