A goal zone is a key part of the stages in Pokémon UNITE.
Function
When a Pokémon dunks Aeos energy into a goal zone, it scores points for that Pokémon's team. Once enough points have been scored in a goal zone, the goal zone will be destroyed. The only goal zone that cannot be destroyed is the central goal zone. Furthermore, the goal zones on Auroma Park and Shivre City cannot be destroyed either.
Number of goal zones per stage
- Remoat Stadium: 5 per team
- Theia Sky Ruins: 5 per team
- Mer Stadium: 3 per team
- Catch 'Em: 3 per team
- Auroma Park: 2 goal zones
- Shivre City: 1 per team
