Remoat Stadium

Remoat Stadium (Japanese: レモータスタジアム Remota Stadium) is a stadium in Pokémon UNITE. It is a floating landmass with wooded and beach areas.

It is broadly similar to Mer Stadium, with their main differences being that Remoat is larger and the shape of the Central Area in Remoat is different. Like all stadiums, Remoat Stadium was built over an Aeos energy spot.

Remoat Stadium used to be the primary Battle Map of Pokémon UNITE. As such, it can be accessed immediately upon completing the tutorial. (It is actually the only Battle Map a new player can access, with all other maps locked until they have a high enough Trainer level.) A normal battle on Remoat Stadium is a 5 vs 5 match.

Welcome to the Stadium!, a chapter of Pokémon UNITE Manga - Come On Over to Aeos Island!, implies that Aeos Emporium and Zirco Trading are located in exterior portions of the landmass.

History

Remoat Stadium was the original stage in Ranked Match and Casual Battle. In September 2022, Remoat Stadium was replaced by Theia Sky Ruins in Ranked Match. However, it can still be played in Casual Battle.

Layout

• Top Path: The top path is the recommended path for most Attackers and Defenders.
• Central Area: The central area is used to prioritize a Pokémon leveling up and evolving quickly. Generally, Speedsters are chosen for the central area.
• Bottom Path: The bottom path is the recommended path for most All-Rounders and Supporters.

Salac Berries spawn in the center of the map. Picking one up will temporarily increase a Pokémon's movement speed.

Goal Zones

Each side starts with five goal zones. Four of them can be broken by scoring enough points into them. The central goal zone, however, will not break, no matter how many points are scored in it.

Sitrus Berries will spawn at the front goal zones until 5:00, restoring a Pokémon's HP by 1500 when picked up.

Pokémon

• Rotom: Rotom first spawns at 7:00 at the top path. When defeated by either team, it heads towards the goal zone of the other team. If it gets into the goal zone, it makes it defenseless, and players can instantly score in it.
• Drednaw: Drednaw first spawns at 7:00 at the bottom path. When Drednaw is defeated, it gives a large amount of experience to the team that defeated it.
• Zapdos: Zapdos spawns in the very center of the map at 2:00. When Zapdos is defeated by a team, it makes all goal zones of the opposing team defenseless for a short amount of time.

In animation

In the "Pokémon UNITE Opening Cinematic", a Unite Battle took place on Remoat Stadium. The purple team consisted of Absol, Garchomp, Cinderace, Slowbro and Greninja, and the orange team consisted of Talonflame, Mr. Mime, Pikachu, Snorlax and Lucario. Lucario successfully scored a goal, while Pikachu was last seen attempting to block the Aeos energy Cinderace launched at the center goal zone of the orange team. This last goal attempt occurred during the final ten second of the match, and may have decided who won.

In the manga

In Pokémon UNITE Manga - Come On Over to Aeos Island!, Remoat Stadium is the setting of the third chapter, Welcome to the Stadium!. In it, a female trainer welcomed her father to Aeos Island, and together they explored Remoat's exterior. The two visited Zirco Trading and Aeos Emporium, making a number of purchases. The chapter concluded with the girl meeting up with her teammates.

Remoat Stadium also makes a minor appearance in the fourth chapter, In Search of a Aeos Energy Spot. It appears on a map of Aeos Island, in reference to how all stadiums are built on top of Aeos energy spots.
