Steadfast (Japanese: ふくつのこころ Indomitable Heart) is an Ability introduced in Generation IV.
Effect
In battle
Steadfast increases the Pokémon's Speed stat by one stage whenever it flinches. The Speed boost will only apply if the flinching message is displayed.
Outside of battle
Steadfast has no effect outside of battle.
