Avignon Town (Japanese: アブニヨンの町 Avugnon Town) is an animated series-exclusive location in Kalos. It is one of the settings of Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction. It is overlooked by a large castle.
Ash and his friends went to Avignon Town, where Ash lost a battle against Astrid in front of the castle. Meanwhile, Diancie had come to the town in search of Xerneas. She was hunted down in the town's streets by Merilyn and Riot, who wanted to capture her for her ability of creating diamonds.
