Powder Snow (Japanese: こなゆき Powder Snow) is an Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation II that deals a small amount of damage.
Effect
Generation II
Powder Snow does damage and has a 9.8% chance of freezing the opponent. Powder Snow cannot freeze an opponent that has a Substitute or already has a major status ailment.
Generation III onward
The effects of Powder Snow continue into this generation, however, it has a 10% chance of freezing the opponent.
