No problem. I get that all the time. And when I say that, I mean every single time I say it, it gets shot down. Did you know the thing that pushed me to finally join was just to say my theory on here? And guess what? You do seem rude. Seriously. "Oh no, your theory will never be on Giratina's page. Ever. Enjoy your stay!" What the heck? "Oh, I want to be first to tell this guy his theory is lame, so I'll just comment before even reading it completly. Or even think out my comment!" | No problem. That theory of yours will never be on Giratina's page, we here at Bulbapedia don't put speculation on articles (except in special cases such as GSDS which is actually in the appendix section) and pride ourselves on factual information. Hope I don't seem too rude, and enjoy your stay here at Bulbapedia! The Dark Fiddler - You enter a poorly lit room... 20:17, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Or even think out my comment!" And take a look at this, taken directly from the page: "Origin Giratina is possibly based on a basilisk. In the Altered Forme, the wings may be based on a bat's, and its body has an insect-like, six-legged feature, but its posture is similar to a sauropod. Its Origin Forme has a body similar to a serpent, while the six protrusions on its body may be based off of a scorpion's stinger.
Name origin Giratina's name may be derived from platinum (written as プラチナ platina in katakana; compare to ギラティナ) and either guillotine, girasol, giraffe or girare (meaning to wander)."

That's why the origins part is beneath trivia, near the very bottom of the article. The Dark Fiddler might have been a little rude, I suppose, and there are far-fetched name origins sections such as the one on Milotic's page.
