Trivia
- Ninjask has the second highest Speed of any Pokémon in the games. It is surpassed only by the Speed Forme of Deoxys. With its ability, Speed Boost, and proper EV training in Speed, it is able to be the fastest of all Pokémon barring Skill Swapping its ability onto Speed Forme Deoxys.
- Its Generation IV sprite is identical to its Generation III sprite, except for a minor shift in its appendages.
- Ninjask cannot learn any Template:Type2 moves via level-up despite it being Flying-type.
Origin
It may have been based on a fully adult cicada.
Name origin
Ninjask's name may be a combination of ninja and mask. Its Japanese name may be a combination of 鉄火 tekka, gunfire, and ninja.
