The manual of style is very important. Make sure to read it. It outlines all official policies of Bulbapedia.
The word Pokémon is spelled with a capital P and an accented é. The P, of course, is accessed easily by holding Shift and pressing the P key, while the é can be accessed using Alt + 130 or Alt + 0233 on a Windows computer, and Option + e, then e again on a Mac. Otherwise, you can click it in the character palette below the editbox.
The word Poké Ball is spelled as two words. The "Poké" part is identical to the four beginning letters in "Pokémon"; "Ball" is spelled with a captial B (which is, again, accessed by holding Shift and pressing the B key). The spelling "Pokéball" arises frequently, but is incorrect.
The word "you" and all forms of it should not be used on encyclopedic pages unless it is a quote from Pokémon or other media. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, not a walkthrough.
On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
The use of link templates is official policy. For an explanation on their use, see the page on shortlinks.
If you happen to spot a vandal in the recent changes that has not been dealt with, please see this page for how to deal with it.
A list of pages that are linked to, but have not been created, can be found at this page. A list of short articles that may require more information can be found here, while a list of articles that need improvement can be found here.
For a future capture, release, trade, or evolution of a Pokémon belonging to a main character of the anime, please do not create or move the page to reflect your suspicions, even if they are shared by many others. Policy here is to wait until the episode in which the event happens takes place is aired, unless there is substantial evidence for the suspicion (such as Brock's Happiny being held in his arms).
Image uploading is done on Bulbagarden Archives, a separate wiki accessible through the toolbox in the sidebar. You will have to register separately for it, as well. This is done so that both Bulbapedia and Bulbanews have access to the images uploaded.
If you want to make a page about a character you made up, please create it at User:Kevzo8/Archives/1/(name), not merely (name). Bulbapedia's main namespace is reserved for actual, official Pokémon, items, characters, and locations. Also, please try to make sure that subpages are not categorized by templates used within.
Having said this, please make sure that you do contribute adequately to the main namespace. Bulbapedia is not MySpace or Facebook.
A list of the admins that you can contact in case of a problem, can be found here.

Slow down on editing the User: namespace. There are only three userspace edits allowed per day, and you have gone over the limit. Editing your userpage too much will lead to it being locked again. Instead of making multiple small edits, why not instead use the preview button (Alt + Shift + P) to check your edits before saving the page? Thank you. ----PAK ManTalk05:43, 22 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
well, dont worry about the images, but the tutor things, please. go, do! btw, your signature is breaking the signature policy. your sig has to reflect your actual username. -- MAGNEDETH03:12, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, but like what I said in the above section I wanna change my username but I couldn't get the right timing to talk with TTE about it. So maybe I should change it for a while?--DUSKevz03:15, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
well, if you arent going to change it for a while, then yes. but, as a talk page, im sure he checks it every day. just leave him a note, and hell get around to it at his earliest convenience. -- MAGNEDETH03:18, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

yep. I know. Just had a little trouble with coding and fixed it right in there. Someone also noted that some users have too much subpages so I did not create my own Sandbox. So instead, I try codes in the talk page, and do some previews.--Kevzo803:28, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Actually, it DID use Ice Beam against Team Rocket, that's why it's on the list. If it never used it, it wouldn't be on the list. So it might be best if you change it back...and plus, it was kinda proven that it doesn't know Take Down anymore.--☆Tavisource07:02, 13 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
I dunno that. In which episode? As I remember, in DP104, right after it evolved into Piloswine, it used Take Down. And in DP106, It used Dig, Ice Shard and Ancientpower. Ice beam was used in the 11th movie, I think. If I omitted or missed a thing, please correct my doing. --Kevzo807:09, 13 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

...um. I... guess so? Some people complain about wasting edits for that, but as long as we're editing that anyway to do the parenthetical... --((Martonimos))09:02, 3 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yeah... well, that and ease of use. It's easier to write {{Ash}} than [[Ash Ketchum|Ash]], and much easier to write out {{g|Ranger: Shadows of Almia}} than [[Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia]]. Etc. But I do try to save page space where I can. --((Martonimos))09:11, 3 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Martonimos hates redirects, yes. But in this case, a move resulted in Pokémon Ranger being a disambig and the game article being at Pokémon Ranger (game). That means all the links pointed to the wrong page. I got a bunch by editing a few templates, but as luck would have it, Fabu-Vinny does the side games stuff without a template, so we had to go through and do it manually.
Editing the userspace too much can clog the server, that's why it was limited to four edits per day. If you want to edit your userpage again, you must wait again 'til tomorrow, which is based from UTC, as you can see for the clock at the top beside your username. As a recommendation, you can also use the Preview button to allow you to see your page's progress without making too many edits. Visit userspace policy to learn more. You can make mainspace edits for a while. ^_^--☆Kevzo811:52, 10 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Try explaining that to the people who keep deleting stuff asking for proof of all things when no proof was provided on the spot for the other stuff. Opinion, speculation all words used to try and block information, especially from me.
You know, every article in this site must be encyclopedic. Speculations and opinion are banned here. You presented ideas that are sort of opinionated, that's why they couldn't agree. Try citing some official sources. --☆Kevzo806:54, 25 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Merging Trainer Class articles?
Latest comment: 14 February 20092 comments2 people in discussion

It has been a long debate on the forums and now we are going to do something about it. Since your part of the project, you may wish to vote on the subject at hand. See ya then.--Clarky1322:29, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Merging those Trainer Classes would result into very, very long article. Thus, the page will take time to load, as there are lots of images. I'd say separate. ×Kevzo823:51, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I am aware of the fact that Ash never technically owned a Spearow. However, when Ash first encountered his Fearow, it WAS a Spearow. Due to this, TTE gave me full permission to create the page. He also gave me permission to create Mankey for the same reason. Also, in the manga, the Fearow was NEVER seen as a Spearow (At least as far as I know). --Theryguy51214:17, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ehh, it was a Spearow in the anime only which was not technically owned by Ash in the anime. However, in the manga, he owned the Fearow. The reason why I added "in the Electric Tale of Pikachu manga" part because it was never his in the anime, which might confuse the readers. But then again, it wasn't a Spearow in the manga, and that's why I said in the summary "the page doesn't make sense". Do you get my point? It was a Spearow in the anime that was never his, but it was his Fearow in the manga.. the relation of the canons. ►Ҝəυzø814:38, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

The only difference between the current one, and the one I changed it to is it doesn't say where encountered. --Spriteit10:44, 11 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
..I thought we are updating them for the party template, not for Trainer template. Trainer templates are for multiple Trainers in a location, such that Campers/Picknickers/etc. don't need party template, but Blue, a player character, needs one. ►Ҝəυzø810:54, 11 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Not in that case. That's why I don't edit pages with images that is specific for a Pokémon, or if the image has the Trainer with the Pokémon, indicating that the Pokémon is owned by the Trainer. For example, May with Glaceon, the caption would be May's Glaceon.. or May with her Glaceon. Besides, all Glaceon would look the same, unless there's a differently colored one that would appear in the anime. ►Ҝəυzø803:31, 14 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you! Actually, the source I'm using doesn't report genders, as well as locations of trainers or the money they give to you. But I'll add them when (and if) I'll find them. --Siegfried10:55, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

So you mean to use é instead of e? I could do that :)
No problem! Always happy to help. Anyway, I noticed that you use "you" in the mainspace, which isn't encyclopedic, so please refrain from doing so. Instead, address it as "the player". ^^ ►Ҝəυzø813:44, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

About your edit on Bayleef's page, you added information that is not really relevant. Phanpy evolved in later generation, not in Johto saga. ►Ҝəυzø811:00, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
It's fine. ^^ That comment is a template, so sorry if that sounded mean.. Anyway, you cannot delete comment, but you can archive it. @Prongs; not really. Some users happen to hate bringing discussions in more than a talkpage. For me, it's alright. ►Ҝəυzø810:49, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
They are admins, they love patrolling pages, and that include talk pages, so they will know if ever they get a reply, even not on their own talk pages. One last thing Prongs, change your signature's font from "Comic Sands MS" into "Comic Sans MS". There's no such font as Comic Sands.. It's a mistake made by Clarky, since the letter S is beside the letter D on the keyboard. Tehehe. ►Ҝəυzø811:18, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
It's a mistake by me, actually. Considering that he took the coding from me and I made that mistake while typing the coding. [wow, late comment] ΘρtιmαtumTalk13:30, 31 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
According to Prongs's talk, Clarky proposed the coding for his signature. Oh well.. Maybe a coincidence? And glad that to see you again here, Optimus. ^^ ►Ҝəυzø813:33, 31 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
No problem, fairy. ^^ Just be sure to remember that, okay? That also goes for subpages. It should be under your userspace. Thanks, ►Ҝəυzø812:35, 31 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'm asking you because you're the one who made the page. Where exactly did you source this title? There's some speculation going on on the talk page that it's an April Fools Day joke. --ケンジのガール18:15, 2 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I based it from Argy's edit in the Bulbanews. I thought she added a correct info since she's the EIC there. See here. I'm really sorry, I fell for it.. D: ►Ҝəυzø801:46, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
Question
Latest comment: 3 April 20092 comments2 people in discussion
Do we always have to relate the title of the section to the topic...scratch that...I rarely do that though, so it was somewhat random... ht1403:58, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
I do think it should, so that the person you are talking to will know the subject of your comment. Uhm, personally, I view that as "laziness" since it won't hurt naming the subject. But notifications aren't, either way. Or not always. Maybe just on some important notices.►Ҝəυzø804:15, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
To Be Continued
Latest comment: 3 April 20093 comments3 people in discussion
Yellow text isn't always present in all anime/cartoons. Besides, we do it for eyecatches and it appears in every episode. Why can't we create an article for that as well?Lanturn13:43, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
I mean the "To be continued" or any variations, not exactly what the Pokémon anime's. Eyecatches have animation, we have the gallery, and it's like Trainer's Choice and Who's that Pokémon. ◄Kevzo8►13:48, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Is a TV Show on NBC. 15 Seasons, 300+ Episodes, changed TV as we see it today, as well as making George Clooney famous. Its A Big Thing. Show finale was last night.DCM((Mock MeEdits))14:42, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
Youve actually never heard of it? Im not a fan of it, and even i heard of it. the Media was huge about it for the last two weeks, as it was the sendoff for such an important TV show. it was kind of a big deal.DCM((Mock MeEdits))14:49, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
I may have saw it, but I really don't memorize titles. Don't blame me for my ignorance, I'm not an American, I don't have access on watching it regularly. ◄Kevzo8►14:53, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ah, not American. Sorry, it was just all over the American Media, and a source told me the canadian media. you'll have to forgive me for my ignorance.DCM((Mock MeEdits))15:05, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
I forgive you. lol.. It's fine. It was not stated in my userpage after all.. =D Thanks for letting me know what it is. ^^ ◄Kevzo8►15:08, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about my last edit there. I wanted to put my vote at the top to let people know that I had worked hard on making it better (fixed grammar, broke up run-on sentences, removed unneeded trivia, etc.). When you have the time, could you cast your vote as well? AlphaTotodile
It's fine. The reason is that it makes the list in improper order. Anyway, I'll be sure to cast my vote. ^_^ The article is quite better that before. =D ◄Kevzo8►12:20, 13 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I would like to say thanks for teaching me how to use link templates. Being new and all, I don't know all the stuff. By the way, this page looks excellent. Could you teach me how to be like that? Like I'm your apprentice or something? CUBONE PWNS23:06, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I know it'a for a good cause and stuff, but could you slow down on the userspace edits? They're clogging up about half of the current RC. Remember the preview button.--RexRacer11:50, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, I noticed that, thanks Rex. I already finished the template for now, I'm tired. D: I will clog up the mainspace next day, for sure. :D ◄Kevzo8►11:59, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your "Sketch's an admin, bureaucrat, an image expert. And your complaints are not acceptable." comment was perfect. It's the whole truth about Bulbapedia. An admin's word is an unbreakable law here. --Maxim15:17, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
And I quote from the talkpage for Ash's Gliscor:
Yeah, the general theory is that if it has the Trainer in the photo, it's clearly the Trainer's Pokémon. This one is great. — THE TROM — 21:19, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
I know my comment sounded pissed off, eh? Sorry for that; he kept on replacing the image.. That's why I reacted like that. And now I know that.. he's... Kuki. >.> ◄Kevzo8►01:43, 25 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
