The Grass type is one of the nine TCG elemental types.
The Grass type contains all Poison, Bug, and Grass Pokémon found in the Game Boy games. For example, Muk, Beedrill, and Sceptile are all Grass types in the TCG. However, if the Pokémon is a Template:Type2 in the games, starting with Diamond & Pearl, they are depicted as Psychic-type.
Battle properties
Generally Grass Pokémon have a weakness to:
- Fire (if the Pokémon was a Grass- or Template:Type2 in the Game Boy game)
- Psychic (if the Pokémon was a Template:Type2 in the Game Boy game)
These types are generally weak to Grass Pokémon:
- Water
- Fighting (if the Pokémon was a Ground- or Template:Type2 in the Game Boy games)
- Darkness (if the Pokémon was Dark and Water/Grass-type in the Game Boy games.)
These types are generally resistant to Grass Pokémon:
- Metal (only before EX Ruby & Sapphire)
