The Armor Fossil (Japanese: たてのカセキ Shield Fossil) is a Fossil introduced in Generation IV that can be regenerated into Shieldon. It is the counterpart of the Skull Fossil.

The Armor Fossil was introduced as a Trainer card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game in the Mysterious Treasures expansion, first released in the Japanese Secret of the Lakes expansion. It is a Fossil Trainer card, so after being played it is put on the Bench as a Colorless-type Basic Pokémon. It has a Poké-Body that says if it is damaged by an opponent's Pokémon's attack, Armor Fossil's owner can flip coins until they get tails and, for each heads, reduce the damage done by the Attacking Pokémon by ten. It can evolve into Shieldon that evolve from an Armor Fossil.
