Places of interest
In the center of the square
Kecleon Shop
- Main article: Kecleon Shop
The Kecleon Shop is run by two Kecleon brothers. The younger, green Kecleon runs the Kecleon Shop, which sells various items, such as Food, Throwing items, and Seeds. The older, purple Kecleon runs Kecleon Wares, which sells TMs and Wonder Orbs. The shop starts selling different items after completing Great Canyon, and again after completing Sky Tower.
Felicity Bank
Felicity Bank (Japanese: ペルシアン銀行 Persian Bank) is a bank run by Persian. This bank allows the rescue team to store money so it is lost if the party is defeated in a dungeon.
In Rescue Team DX, if the rescue team makes a transaction at Felicity Bank every day for a certain number of days, Persian will give them a reward. The reward can be an Apple, a Tiny Reviver Seed, a Max Ether, or an Oran Berry.
Wigglytuff's Camp Corner / Wigglytuff Club
Wigglytuff's Camp CornerRTDX (Japanese: プクリンのキャンプコーナー Pukurin's Camp Corner) or the Wigglytuff ClubRB (Japanese: プクリンのともだちサークル Pukurin's Friend Circle) is a shop run by Wigglytuff that sells access to rescue team camps/Friend Areas, which allow Pokémon can be recruited for the rescue team.
Kangaskhan Storage
- Main article: Kangaskhan Storage
Kangaskhan Storage is run by Kangaskhan. This storage system allows the player to store items so they will not be lost if the party is defeated in a dungeon.
Gulpin Link Shop
Gulpin Link Shop (Japanese: ゴクリンの連結店 Gokulin's Link Shop) is a shop run by Gulpin that allows the rescue team to set moves, link them for combos, or remember forgotten techniques. However, in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, Gulpin cannot teach Deoxys moves it has forgotten, saying this is because Deoxys is a "special" Pokémon, but this has been accessible in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX.
In Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, this costs 150 Poké; in Rescue Team DX, this service is free.
After completing the main story in Rescue Team DX, Gulpin will open up a new service for Pokémon to learn moves outside of their level-up and TM movepool (equivalent to moves learned by tutoring in the core series games). This service costs the player money, and the price differs for individual moves.
Outside of the square
Whiscash Pond
- Main article: Whiscash Pond
Whiscash Pond is an area to the north of Pokémon Square. Its main inhabitant is Whiscash, who tells stories to the player. After saving the world from a meteor, it is possible to access Luminous Cave from here, which permits Pokémon to evolve.
