==History==
Despite J's client being different from [[J]] herself personality-wise, he trusted her on many Pokémon catching missions, as shown with the case of the Aura Sphere Riolu. Unlike J who would sacrifice her men just to do her job as a Pokémon hunter, J's client relied on his henchmen to prevent anyone from trying to stop him.

J's client is a recurring character in the Pokémon anime who was featured in Pokémon Ranger and the Kidnapped Riolu! Part 1 and Part 2. He commissioned J to capture the Aura Sphere Riolu.

History

J's client's henchmen

J's client first appeared in Pokémon Ranger and the Kidnapped Riolu! (Part 1), where he was met with his henchmen after they successfully stole the Aura Sphere Riolu from a laboratory facility. After Riolu escaped from his clutches, he contacted Hunter J to capture Riolu on his behalf.

In Pokémon Ranger and the Kidnapped Riolu! (Part 2), he was pleased to learn that Riolu was captured and met J to collect it. However, Ash, his friends, Officer Jenny, and Pokémon Rangers Kellyn and Solana intervened. Hunter J quickly left in her airship, leaving her client and his crew to handle them.

While his henchmen helped stall the pursuit, Ash and Kellyn caught up to him by a cave. J's client prevented the pair from gaining on him by having his Aggron block the entrance with Rock Smash. Kellyn was able to destroy the cave-ins with a Donphan nearby. With the help of Ash's Aura, the two were able to locate J's client. J's client battled Ash and Kellyn with Aggron and was defeated by Pikachu's Volt Tackle, causing Aggron to land onto him. J's client and his henchmen were later arrested by Officer Jenny and the Aura Sphere Riolu was returned to its home in Lucario Kingdom.

Character

Hunter J's client is motivated by power, hence his interest in the rare Aura Sphere Riolu. He is quick-thinking and determined, using his Pokémon to ensure he got his way. However, he and his henchmen were taken aback by the Pokémon Rangers' surprise tactics and quickly outnumbered.
