Dan Green

Dan Green (born James Hadley Snyder) is an American voice actor, voice director and script writer for the English-language dub of the Pokémon anime. He is also known as Jay Snyder. He is currently affiliated with Innovative Artists.


Biography

Green began voicing characters on the Pokémon anime during the third season. His first role on the show was Captain Aidan in The Pokémon Water War. He continued to voice characters until the end of the eighth season, when 4Kids Entertainment gave up the dubbing and distribution of the series to Pokémon USA and TAJ Productions. Later, after DuArt Film & Video became the recording studio, he provided the voice of Spiritomb in the episode The Keystone Pops!, making him one of the first former 4Kids voice actors to return to the series, after David Lapkin, and the first for the DuArt dub.

He did not have any roles for several years after partway through Pokémon the Series: Black & White following the birth of his children and death of his wife in November 2011. Eventually, he returned to reprise the role of Mewtwo in Mewtwo Strikes Back—Evolution, and Getting More Than You Battled For!, along with Chuck in Octo-Gridlock at the Gym!.
