The Pokédex

Card Rarities

Whenever a rarity is listed for a card released in English, we use the card's rarity in the English set, NOT the card's rarity in the Japanese set. As such, when you edited the articles of the Uncommon cards Linoone, Swellow, and Vigoroth to be of Rare rarity and the article of the Common card Carvanha to be of Uncommon rarity, you were basically inserting false information into those articles (which is a blockable offense). Rarities can, and at times are, different between the Japanese and English versions of the sets; what may be correct for the Japanese version may not be for the English. Trust me, the Linoone, Swellow, Vigoroth, and Carvanha in question are far from the only cards to have their rarity changed for English release. --Shiningpikablu252 16:58, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
