Release information

This card was released in the HeartGold & SoulSilver expansion, originating from the Japanese SoulSilver Collection. It was reprinted in the Call of Legends expansion with new artwork by the same artist. An exclusive Non Holofoil version of this print was included in the Recon Theme Deck. During the Black & White Series, a Cracked Ice Holofoil print of the HeartGold & SoulSilver print was included in the Stage 1 Blisters, released in November 2011. This print mistakenly has the set symbol for the Undaunted expansion.

Will-o'-the-wisp is essentially Will-O-Wisp, a move in the Pokémon games that Ninetales can learn as a Vulpix or via TM61. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon SoulSilver.
