Do we really have to mention that? Anyone can look at the date and figure it out for themselves. And why do we even have to mention the episodes that aired on the 9/11s that happened before the attacks? I'm sure that we have had Pokémon episodes that have aired on days of other disasters yet we don't mention any of them. Personally I believe we shouldn't mention things like this being it has nothing to do with nor does it effect the episode in general. --<span style="color:#33CC66;">ケンジ</span><span style="color:#6600CC;">の</span><span style="color:#FF00CC;">ガール</span> 05:37, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Mentioning 9/11

Do we really have to mention that? Anyone can look at the date and figure it out for themselves. And why do we even have to mention the episodes that aired on the 9/11s that happened before the attacks? I'm sure that we have had Pokémon episodes that have aired on days of other disasters yet we don't mention any of them. Personally I believe we shouldn't mention things like this being it has nothing to do with nor does it effect the episode in general. --ケンジガール 05:37, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Of course not. Which is why I removed it. TTEchidna 05:57, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

If

If they were to have a battle for the badge in this episode, would it be trivia that this is the first time Ash battled a Sinnoh (or before) Gym Leader far way from their gym? tc26 01:49, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

It is far to early to suggest something like that. -Sketchies 02:18, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
Would it really be far from the gym anyway? Rucario64 16:00, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
This is not the place to discuss such things. -Sketchies 19:52, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
This is the perfect place to discuss additions to the article. But Ash got his badge from Whitney outside Goldenrod City. They specifically said then that location isn't really important. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 19:55, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
To discuss where the battle takes place before the episode is even out does not help the article. -Sketchies 18:11, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Still, I highly doubt this is where Ash fights Fantina, given how this is a contest leg of the trek. For all we know, it'll be Dawn challenging Fantina to a contest-style battle, double performance, Piplup (later Prinplup after it evolves mid-battle) and Buneary vs. Mismagius and Drifblim. And Kenny'll show up with his newly-evolved Empoleon after the fight's done...--Shiningpikablu252 20:03, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
Considering how the preview has Pikachu fighting Drifloom, and it's surrounded by Blue flames (I think it's will-o-wisp, but I can't say for sure), I'm gonna say that Ash DOES fight Fantina in that episode (unless one of Team Rocket's Pokemon ends up having a new move or Team Rocket has a new Mecha to capture pikachu with.). Now, whether Ash wins against her or not remains to be seen. Weedle Mchairybug 23:16, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
