"The old secret base of Team Magma/Team Aqua is located on this route." Should this be "Team Magma/Team Aqua once roadblocked this road."? I've never seen their secret base. --Happy Holidays! 01:43, 13 January 2010 (UTC) Kimori-Hinoarashi
- Yes, I confirmed the last time I played Ruby that until the mission in the Oceanic Museum is done then that respective team will block the road. -Tyler53841 01:48, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
- There's a small island with a secret base-able tree on it near the Mauville exit.. the sign says either "Team Magma rules!" (or Aqua), or something like that. Which I think it implies that they used to reside there and relocated to Lilycove/Jagged Pass. Might want to change the wording on that. ▫▪Ťïňắ ♫♥ 01:49, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
- I dunno, graffiti near the secret base doesn't necessarily indicate that they once resided there. Maybe the sign said something like "If you are harassed by TEAM AQUA/TEAM MAGMA, report them to the authorities!" There's plenty of explanations for why the graffiti would be there, and I don't think marking their secret base is the most logical by any means. Seems more like speculation to me, and we all know the rule about speculation. --AndyPKMN 12:38, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
- I agree with the above statement. There is more than 1 way to describe this. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 12:49, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
- Now why would a sign like that be stuck out in the middle of the sea, next to an old secret base?--Clarky13 13:01, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
- Just checked the game itself and examined the sign. "'Team Aqua was here!' Someone painted that onto this sign, but then someone else painted over it. 'Team Magma rules!' is what it says now." Playing Emerald, by the way. It'd make sense for Aqua to have a secret base out in the middle of the sea and near a place they attempted to invade... but that's just my speculation, don't take that for granted. Still, though. Doesn't change the fact that the sign said "Team ____ was here". ▫▪Ťïňắ ♫♥ 02:03, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

- Between the exclamation point and the "retaliation", Team Aqua isn't saying "our base was here". The exclamation point makes the much more likely explanation that it's just plain old graffiti (like "Bob was here"; some Team Aqua member probably found the island and thought it'd be oh so cool to claim it for Team Aqua, like a poor man's flag). Then there's the retaliation (from Team Magma), which is very plainly grandstanding graffiti: it's far more likely that both messages were intended to be simple graffiti than it is that one is an ode to a bygone base and the other is graffiti (and I don't mean "by in-game logic" so much as "by the developer's logic"). In any case, even those who advanced the "old base" interpretation so far have been less than confident that it's definitely the meaning, to say nothing of providing anything approaching decent evidence. I'm going to remove the claim that the old Team Magma/Aqua base is on this route. If someone can provide some evidence that it's true, they're welcome to reinsert it; otherwise, people can draw their own wild conclusions (or not) from the description of the sign that's currently in the article. - Wish I had checked this first. >_< In Ruby/Sapphire the sign simply says, '"TEAM MAGMA/AQUA RULEZ!" Somebody scribbled that on the sign...' (Aqua/Magma depends on the version of course). As Mythbusters would say: busted. Tiddlywinks 06:09, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

Plusle In Emerald
Can't one find a Plusle here in Emerald? On the Plusle page, it says yes, but here, no. Could someone check this?--Muk-a-matic-Maketh the Muk go round... 18:38, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
