Lovely Kiss (Japanese: あくまのキッス Demon's Kiss) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I. It is the signature move of Jynx.
Effect
Generations I and II
Lovely Kiss causes the target to fall asleep. Lovely Kiss cannot affect the target if it already has a major status ailment. In Stadium, Lovely Kiss can't affect the target if it has a Substitute.
Generation III and on
Lovely Kiss' effects remain the same, except that now it can't affect targets with Insomnia or Vital Spirit as their ability.

- Its Japanese name correlates with its animation back in the Generation II games in which an imp floats down from the top of the screen and kisses the opponent.
