Infernape (Japanese: ゴウカザル Goukazaru) is a Fire-type Pokémon LV.X card. It is part of the Diamond & Pearl expansion.

Once during your turn (before your attack), you may look at the top 3 cards of your deck, choose 1 of them, and put it into your hand. Discard the other 2 cards. This power can't be used if Infernape is affected by a Special Condition.

Search your discard pile for 8 Energy cards, show them to your opponent, and shuffle them into your deck. (This attack does nothing if you don't have 8 Energy cards in your discard pile.)

Release information

This card was reprinted as one of the DP Black Star Promos with different artwork by the same artist. It was released in September 2007 as one of the cards available in the Diamond & Pearl Collector's Tins. The reprint featured English-exclusive artwork until it was released in Japan as a prize for competing in the Gym Challenge at the Winter Challenge in November 2007.
