Multiscale (Japanese: マルチスケイル Multiscale) is an Ability introduced in Generation V. Only two Pokémon can have this Ability, both having the Flying-type. This Ability is available through the Dream World and upon facing a Dragonite in the Hidden Grotto on Route 18 in Black 2 and White 2.

Effect

In battle

Multiscale lowers damage taken by half when at maximum HP.

Outside of battle

Multiscale has no effect outside of battle.
