Welcome to Bulbapedia, Judgement!
Bulbapedia bulb.png

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Speculation

Hi, welcome to Bulbapedia. I just thought I'd let you know, please do not add speculation to articles. We should only focus on factual information. Thanks. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 21:54, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Thank you, where did I post speculation? Judgement 21:56, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Your addition to Wobbuffet was speculating that its tail is a shadow, which isn't true. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 22:07, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Oh, okay. I've just seen a lot of people say that it looks like a shadow, and since there wasn't anything said about it, I added it. Judgement 22:09, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

The Preview Button and Manga

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to rticles, always make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, when linking to manga ause the round/adventure names, or round/adventure number. For example, ABW11 if referring to the Japanese version, or Battle at the Dreamyard if referring to the English translation. Thanks. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 22:38, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Oh, sorry. I keep thinking of details to add... For the Black and White manga, what would I put for the Japanese version of chapter 15? Also, why do you keep editing the text I put in? I am sure that it is accurate. Is it because that there is a limit, and you are taking out unnecessary pieces? - unsigned comment from Judgement (talkcontribs)

You are not allowed to edit other people's comments for any reason, please stop doing that. Also sign with four tidles ~~~~. Have a good day. --Pokemaster97 22:58, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
When was I editing someone else's comment...? Sorry, I keep forgetting...(is it really even that important?)Judgement 23:00, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Pokemaster, please do not butt into a conversation you're not involved in. (First question) I'm unsure, I've yet to read it myself. I don't know specifically what volume that is. Try asking the Project Leader, Zesty Cactus. (Second question) While they may be accurate, they seemed a little too specific. It's suppose to simply be a summary, or a gist. Short and simple, but mentions all the important events. Now that I think about it, you should probably check out the Manual of Style for more info on the manga info. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 23:02, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Pokemaster97, how did you even get here? Do you just post on people's pages to correct them?
For the manga, can I just say that the Pokemons' debuts were from Chapter 15, without linking to anything? I just want to make sure it says the correct chapter.Judgement 23:11, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
No, that would be an improper title. Ask Zesty, she'd have a better answer. Also, please use the preview button more. It's right next to the save button. You will only get three warnings to use it. Ignoring the warnings will result in a short block. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 23:20, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Okay, thank you. Wow, a block for not using the preview button? That's a bit extreme, don't you agree? I am using it...Judgement 23:23, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
If someone has been warned three times, and they still don't follow the warning's suggestion, it is seen as blatantly ignoring their warnings, and that is a block-able offense. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 23:28, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

But, it's just the history... For Ingo and Emmet's Pokemon debuts in the manga, I put 'ABW15', referring to the Japanese versions. Is this okay?Judgement 23:36, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

No. Because that isn't chapter 15. Ataro 23:49, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

@Ataro Then what chapter? I am referring from online manga hosting sites, and they have the chapters numbered differently, I suppose. Actually, "chapter 15" is not even on those sites yet, but I do know that the debuts are in the next chapter.Judgement 23:56, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but that is wrong. While I am not supposed to talk about these, I will say this: The chapter you are describing will not be translated into English like the previous ones. (At least, not officially until a few months from now....) A different one will be. Also, the chapters you are reading online are not in complete chronological order, therefore, we wait until they are officially released in English by VIZ before listing the chapters. Ataro 00:01, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

Oh, I see. However, I see that you also deleted what I added in about the manga. I may have not read the official "chapter 15", but someone who had the actual manga beforehand did translate it from Japanese to English accurately, and what I added on Ingo's and especially Emmet's did take place in the manga. Please do not delete what I added, because that IS accurate. Thank you Judgement 00:06, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

Ataro, please stop removing "in the manga" where it says that none of the Pokemons' moves are known. Emmet's Durant's and Ingo's Klinklang's moves are known in the games, but not in the manga, so I feel that it should stay there to prevent confusion.Judgement 00:26, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

We do not do that for any other character. Ataro 00:53, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

Alright, fair enough. A general question about the manga - Do you know where I can look at the "chapter 15" Japanese version? You said that that chapter won't be released in English until a few months from now, but is there like a version I can look at all online? I know it has been released because like I've said, I've seen pictures from the chapter. Curious, how do you know that a different chapter will be released? Judgement 02:34, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

There are quite a few sites that release illegal translated scans of mangas, however these scans are not always same as the offical version, as exprience has taught me. If you wish to know more see me on the forums. Truthseeker4449 22:08, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

Edit warring

Hi Judgement. Rather than you and Ataro reverting each other's edits, you should use talk pages to discuss the changes and come to a solution. Regards, —darklordtrom 00:16, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
