After MooMoo is healed, the player can also buy MooMoo Milk.
Geography
The MooMoo Farm is a small farm located on Route 39. It contains a small paddock where Miltank graze, a barn house, and another house where the owners live. The paddock is located on the south side of the farm, where four Miltank peacefully graze all day. In the barn, lives a sick Miltank named MooMoo. Two children try to nurse the sick Pokémon, but nothing seems to work. If the player gives MooMoo seven ordinary Berries in Generation II, seven Oran Berries in Generation IV, or ten Oran Berries in Heart Gold or Soul Silver it will gradually get better, and one of the children will give the player the Seal Case in Generation IV. The man will sell MooMoo Milk to the player for $500 after MooMoo returns to health. The woman will reward the player with TM13 (Snore) in Generation II, and TM83 (Natural Gift) in Generation IV. In the anime
Ash, Misty, and Brock visited the farm in A Dairy Tale Ending with Whitney. In the anime, MooMoo Farm is located outside of Goldenrod City and is overseen by Whitney's Uncle Milton. It is much like the MooMoo Farm in the games, as many Miltank lie around and graze. The farm was the location of Ash's rematch against Whitney where he defeated her Miltank.
There may also be a MooMoo Farm on Route 38 (as in the games) as referenced in Bulbasaur... the Ambassador!.
In the manga
In the Pokémon Adventures manga
In Pokémon Adventures, MooMoo Farm first appears in Miltank Melee, where a couple is trying to cure a sick Miltank. Eusine and his Jumpluff crash through the roof of the barn, and he cures the silk Miltank, though he tricks the farm couple into thinking he did it with magic. Soon after Eusine leaves the farm, Crystal confronts him about this and reveals that all he did was cleverly slip the Miltank a berry.
In the Pokémon Gold & Silver: The Golden Boys manga
In Pokémon Gold & Silver: The Golden Boys, MooMoo Farm is first mentioned in A Promise Given to Miltank, when Morty says that all the Miltank on the farm are sick. Later, Gold enters a Pokémon tournament at the farm in Let's Fight! The Mini Pokémon Tournament.
Trivia
- A similarly named Moo Moo Farm is the name of a Mario Kart 64 course.
- If normal game mechanics are in play, MooMoo would have to be at least level 20 to be healed by seven Oran Berries.
