Jessie's Pumpkaboo (Japanese: ムサシのバケッチャ Musashi's Bakeccha) is the first Pokémon that Jessie captured in the Kalos region.
History
Pumpkaboo made its first appearance in The Bamboozling Forest!. While walking through a forest, Jessie tripped over Pumpkaboo as it was emerging from underground. While it kept shining its light repeatedly, Jessie threw a Poké Ball at it, successfully catching Pumpkaboo, much to James's surprise. Later, it was used to battle Ash and his friends to prevent them from rescuing a Pangoro and Pancham that Team Rocket had captured. Using its Leech Seed, Pumpkaboo was able to prevent its opponents' Pokémon from moving. It was defeated after Ash gave Pangoro a leaf, allowing it to regain its confidence and easily send Team Rocket blasting off.
Personality and characteristics
Not much is known about Pumpkaboo's personality. It is shown to have a tendency to flash its lights repeatedly.

- Pumpkaboo is Jessie's first Grass-type Pokémon.
- Pumpkaboo was shown to be roughly twice as large as James's Inkay. Assuming there were no size discrepancies, this would make Jessie's Pumpkaboo Super Size: Inkay are 1' 04", and Super Size Pumpkaboo are 2' 07".
